ISOPON ERC: Ecofriendly solution for polyester reduction clearing

Back
1 Addressing the issue

Reduction clearing removes the unabsorbed dispersed dye from the surface of polyester at the end of the dyeing or printing process.

This treatment is mandatory and usually carried out with hazardous chemicals for the operators and the environment, such as sodium hydrosulfite and thiourea dioxide.

2 Isopon ERC: the ecofriendly solution

To replace dangerous chemicals, we developed Isopon ERC, the reduction clearing agent based on aldols that doesn’t contain sulfur and boron reducing agents.

It's a synergic blend with anionic dispersant, suitable for automatic dosing systems and all kinds of dyeing machinery.

Isopon ERC removes unfixed disperse dyestuffs from polyester and blends and destroys residual non-exhausted dyestuff in the bath; it provides cleaner wastewater and a better work environment because it doesn't develop a nasty smell.

Isopon ERC is approved by the most important certification bodies.

3 Isopon ERC is GRS compliant

Recycled polyester (rPET) is one of the most popular recycled fibers, and its production is constantly growing. Many major brands are shifting their production to 100% rPET.

Isopon ERC is compliant with GRS (Global Recycle Standard) and can be applied to produce certified polyester recycled finished goods.

Isopon ERC is present in our product portfolio dedicated to the rPET value chain.
