Sizing

We are the European leader in the production of sizing agents for continuous synthetic yarns.

We produce sulfonated polyester resins for sizing polyester and a range of several acrylic resins for sizing all synthetic fibres at our facility in Filago. In our application lab, we have two pilot plants where we study the developments of new sizes and carry out application tests on the customers’ items.

Our Reutlingen Web tester enables us to simulate weaving, test the performance of several yarns and sizes, optimize the products and recipes, and achieve excellent results from the very first tests.

In our R&D lab, we search for higher-performing formulas that can reduce the quantity of product applied to the material (size pick-up), that can be removed from the fabric more efficiently, and reduce the amount of water and auxiliaries used during preparation.
