Chemical auxiliaries for water treatment
The water used in industrial plants for water treatment processes must observe specific quality standards to avoid scaling or corrosion phenomena.
The achievement of such quality standards is obviously related to treatment processes carried out on the recycled or ground waters generally used in industry.
In particular, in the presence of metal cations in water and anions, such as carbonates, sulphates, phosphates or silicates, brings to the formation of scale within water recirculation circuits which would compromise the operation and its efficacy.
Bozzetto advises use of a range of chemical auxiliaries to control the precipitation of inorganic salts in water, based on a process for the dispersion of cations and anions or the sequestration of cations. These additives can be used in the following application fields:
- Cooling towers
- Swimming pools
- Reverse osmosis
