The Bozzetto Group has always believed in investing in expanding its research laboratories with regard to both equipment and human resources. Especially in sectors like ours, without research it is not possible to improve products in order to provide the solutions that the market expects.

Our laboratories equipped with cutting-edge apparatus conduct both research and meticulous product tests.
It is here that the most suitable solutions become reality by making the smallest adjustments required. The laboratories are very closely connected to the production process, where thorough, highly sophisticated tests are conducted on the raw materials on arrival and finished products ready for dispatch.
This is the only way to guarantee constant, high quality. Further tests are conducted later, in order to carefully monitor every phase of the production chain.

Through the years, Giovanni Bozzetto S.p.A. has grown from a small family run business to a large multinational company, with production plants scattered throughout the strategic areas of its markets, while still preserving its headquarters in Filago, Bergamo.
Its business activities, originally focussed on the production of auxiliary equipment for the textile industry, have also undergone considerable diversification, extending to the chemical field specifically for the building trade, as well as to detergent additives and water treatment.
The Bozzetto Group has been able to achieve an international leading status in all its fields of business, even though it has often had to compete against considerably larger companies.
This has all been possible thanks to the reliability and practicability of the technical solutions offered to its customers, and to the company’s ability to work alongside said customers in achieving important objectives.
Giovanni Bozzetto S.p.A. has always behaved responsibly as regards the safety of its workers, its customers and the environment, long before these concepts became “fashionable”. In the 1970’s, Bozzetto was already employing a safety procedure for the application of all its products.
In 1992, Giovanni Bozzetto S.p.A. voluntarily joined the “Responsible Care” program set up by Federchimica (the Italian Chemical Industry Federation), as a natural continuance of its longstanding commitment in the fields of the environment and the safety of its products and production plants.
This was soon followed by:
- the Certification of its Quality Management System (complying with ISO 9002 regulations) obtained in 1993, and the subsequent adjustments pursuant to ISO 9001:2000 regulations, obtained in 2002 (direct link to the PDF certificate);
- the implementation of its Safety Management System in 2001;
- the Certification of its Environmental Management System (ISO 14001) obtained in January 2004 (direct link to the PDF certificate).
In addition to these official objectives, the entire Bozzetto Group also applies in all its production plants:
- a waste management procedure focused on waste collection and recycling;
- a progressive reduction in the production energy employed;
- a recovery program involving washing waters and the reclamation of reactors at production turnover;
- the employment of techniques which make the gradual recovery of waters possible during their use.
