CHEMICAL PRODUCTS FOR THE TEXTILE INDUSTRY
The Textile Chemicals Division numbers some 300 employees and offers more than 500 different products for textile industry applications. Our product range provides a precise response to the needs of an increasingly demanding market with a vast spectrum of goods:
- traditional textile auxiliaries
- sizing products and additives
- man-made fibre auxiliaries
- coating & hot melts
For utmost speed of response, our factories are located in strategic positions; in Italy in Filago and Urgnano (Bergamo); in Spain in Salcedo; in Turkey in Tire (Izmir); in China a Xiangshan (Ningbo), in Indonesia in Bandung and in the Unites States in Greensboro. Our global network of technicians and agents allows us to guarantee the best suited solution to customer needs, being able to cover most international textile markets with more than 50 agencies.
BUILDING CHEMICALS
Among the bases for SUPERPLASTICIZERS we produce sodium and calcium naphthalene sulphonates (NSF) and Policarboxylates (PCE) as additive components used in concrete, mortar and plaster.
Bozzetto debuted on the concrete additive component market in the mid nineteen-seventies, with the development of various NSF-based products to satisfy the specific demands of the construction industry. Recently, we have expanded to the production of polycarboxylates in order to satisfy a continually changing market.
Our NSF production units are situated in Italy (Filago and Urgnano), in
Germany (Duisburg), in Poland (Zabrze), in Spain (Salcedo), in Turkey
(Tire) and for Policarboxylates (PCE) in Filago.
Bozzetto is now a European market leader for naphthalene sulphonates for the construction industry.
The product range also includes polyphosphonic-based setting retardants.
SEQUESTERING AGENTS
Bozzetto manufactures and distributes a range of phosphonic sequestering agents used in a multitude of applications: in the domestic and industrial detergent sector (detergent agents for washing machines, dishwashers, bottle washing, cheese factories, etc.), in the treatment of water (cooling, desalination plants), in the textile industry, etc.).
Phosphonate molecules boast unique features: threshold effect, chelation capacity, dispersion, corrosion inhibition and hydrolysis resistance.
With the production plants at Filago in Italy, Bozzetto, is one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of phosphonates used as sequestering agents.
Our main customers are leading detergent manufacturers. The remainder of our production is absorbed by other markets such as the water treatment, paper manufacturing, ceramics, textile, chemical and cosmetics industries.
