Photovoltaic system

In 2010 Giovanni Bozzetto S.p.A. implemented a plan to clear old asbestos panels and to rebuild three warehouse roofs.

On such an occasion, we decided to install in Filago (BG) a photovoltaic plant, made of three sections - 99, 117 and 49,5 kWp respectively. The photovoltaic sections contain a total of 1180 polycrystalline panels and have a combined power output of 265,5 kWp.

The architecture of this photovoltaic system is completely integrated in the warehouse roof. The GSE - Power Services Administrator in Italy – granted us the highest financial incentive for making this investment plus an additional 5% for the removal of asbestos.

The photovoltaic plant started to work in November 2010 and details of its use in the period from January 2011 to October 2011 are as follows:

- Produced energy: 269.000 Kwh (completely consumed by Giovanni Bozzetto S.p.A.)
- CO2 not delivered to the atmosphere: 143 Ton

The installation of this photovoltaic system and the removal of asbestos follow the policy of sustainability and responsibility, which characterizes all the activities of the Bozzetto Group, and demonstrate our commitment to improve the quality of life in our local communities and our world.
