Swimming pool

Well-known are the effects of the deposits present on the walls and on the bottom of the swimming pool caused by the precipitation of low-solubility salts, for instance CaCO3, CaHPO4, Fe (OH)3, etc.; these salts can normally cause incrustations and discolouring of the surfaces which can only be removed by drastic chemical or mechanical cleaning treatments which are usually carried out in conditions of “Empty pool”.

It is also well-known that many of the common antiscaling and sequestering agents used in the non-chlorinated water treatment are immediately degraded in presence of enough quantities of free-chlorine.

SEQUION® WT CL has been studied in the attempt to overcome the problem of the chlorine-compatibility of a sequestering agent with free-Chlorine.
