Stabilizing effect on colloidal suspensions.
The SEQUION® show high dispersing power and, as such, act as deflocculating and peptizing agents, stabilizing colloidal systems.
Small concentrations of these – negative charged – products are absorbed on dispersed particles, imparting to them a repulsive charge which prevents their floculation.
Along with this property is the characteristic of maintaining colloidal dispersions over long time spans, as result of their enhanced stability to hydrolisis.
